I don't think Rust hardware bans. I was banned a couple months back using some budget fake cheat from some crap vendor (I was desperate) and ended up getting banned in less than 24 hours, So I went out and got a new account and played now for a couple months and never got banned, but I also haven't been using any cheats.

Logitech G502 - I've always been a Logitech mouse person. Keyboard is Corsair K95 RBG - It's been the best keyboard I've owned in my lifetime. I don't use headsets anymore, but I got the AudioTechnica's, they were giving me earaches which is why I stopped using them, before that I was using the A40 TR's but the stupid mic on it always was loose went through 3 sets of them. Personally never been a Razer fan, I owned their mice and keyboards at their hype, but honestly they felt cheap with poor quality.

not really the best method. Its quite easy to change your HWID Naw, you don't have clean data that way. I rather the tracking data is clean, HWID is not the only method of detection.

VM takes like 5 mins to setup a brand new OS, of course it's good if your computer has the resources to run it. Your method is good, not sure if it's 100% or not but for me I rather just use VM or wipe the computer, but that's not always a one size fits all situation.

Honestly I think the best way is to get chods USB drive and use virtual machine.
