As said above the spoofer which you will get with the sub will allow you to play with the same hardware you have now. No additional changes required on your part.

I'm happy to say yes you get the spoofer for any sub, and yes it will work against BE. If you do the mandatory restarts between playing legit and non-legit you will be fine.
