Does the Raid 0 trick still work with battleye or am I better off just waiting until I upgrade my computer to get back into games that I was banned from but want to play again?

So my computer got Hardware ID banned I'm fairly certain and I was wondering how a spoofer would work. I don't really plan on cheating in game anymore I just want to play the game again, how likely are hardware spoofers to be detected? Is it something they can detect?
