This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on Chod's Cheats and forms part of our Terms of Service. By completing a purchase you confirm you have read and agreed to this policy.
In summary: our products are digital goods that activate immediately on payment. Once activated, they are not generally refundable. The exceptions below describe the specific cases where we will issue a refund or credit.
1. Cooling-off period — waived on activation
Under UK and EU consumer law, the standard 14-day right to cancel does not apply to digital content that has been delivered, where the consumer has expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the right to cancel. By ticking the terms checkbox at checkout you provide that consent and acknowledgment.
This means that once your licence is activated — which happens automatically on successful payment — your right to a 14-day cooling-off cancellation no longer applies. The exceptions below still apply.
2. When we'll refund
(a) Product never delivered
If your payment was successful but, due to a technical issue on our side, you did not receive an active licence, contact support with your order number. We will either deliver the licence or issue a full refund.
(b) Service unusable for 7+ consecutive days
If a product you have an active subscription to is offline (status offline or maintenance) for seven or more consecutive days during the validity of your licence and you have not used the product during that period, you may request a pro-rata refund or a credit toward another product, at our discretion.
Where the product comes back online, we will normally automatically extend your licence by the duration of the downtime instead — see the activity log on your licences page for any extensions credited to you.
(c) First 24 hours, unused
If you've placed your order within the last 24 hours, your licence has not been used (no successful runtime activations recorded), and you contact us before any usage occurs, we will consider a refund as a goodwill gesture. This is at our discretion and is not a contractual right once activation has occurred.
(d) Duplicate or accidental purchases
If you have accidentally purchased the same product twice within 30 days, contact support and we will refund the duplicate.
(e) Mass detection during validity
If a wave of detections affects a product during your licence period and we determine the product was materially defective for that period (rather than the result of a routine anti-cheat update we addressed promptly), we may, at our discretion, issue a partial refund or credit. Eligibility requires a detection report submitted via your account within 7 days of the event.
3. When we won't refund
- Once a licence has been used (any successful runtime activation has been recorded against it), unless one of the cases above applies
- For lifetime licences after 14 days from purchase
- For account or hardware bans imposed by game publishers, platforms, or anti-cheat systems — these are inherent risks of using game enhancement software, which you accept under the Terms
- For dissatisfaction with features that are accurately described on the product page at the time of purchase
- Where you've shared your account, key, or licence with anyone else, or otherwise breached the Terms
- Where the request is made fraudulently, or where you've previously received goodwill refunds and are repeating the pattern
4. How to request a refund
Open a ticket via our support page from the email address associated with your order, and include:
- Your order number (format
CC-XXXXXXXX) - Which licence you'd like refunded
- The reason — be specific about which exception above you're relying on
- Any evidence that helps (screenshots of error messages, downtime timestamps, detection notifications, etc.)
You can also use the "Billing" department on the support form to route the ticket to the right team faster.
5. Processing time
If we approve a refund, we'll process it back to the original payment method. Most refunds appear in your bank or card account within 5 to 10 business days from the date we issue them, depending on your bank and payment provider.
Where a credit is issued instead of a cash refund, it will appear on your account immediately.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first — we'll do everything reasonable to put it right. Filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first attempting to resolve the issue with us is treated as a breach of these policies. We may suspend your account, revoke any active licences, and dispute the chargeback with full evidence including IP address, license-verification logs, and our communication history.
If a chargeback is upheld against us, we may bar the associated email address and payment method from future purchases.
7. Right to refuse
We reserve the right to refuse or reverse a refund where we have reasonable grounds to believe the request is abusive, fraudulent, or made in bad faith — including, without limitation, repeated refunds across multiple orders, attempts to refund-and-rebuy to game the policy, or refunds claimed for use that has already occurred.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your non-excludable statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence. Where those rights provide stronger protection than what's described here, those rights apply.
