These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chod's Cheats ("we", "us", "our"), the website at chods-cheats.com, and any software, accounts, or services we provide ("Services"). By creating an account, purchasing a licence, or downloading any of our software, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a licence. By using the Services, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.
2. Account registration
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. You must:
- Provide accurate, current information when registering
- Use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication where offered
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected breach
We may suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of compromise, fraud, sharing, or breach of these Terms.
3. Licence grant
Subject to your payment of all applicable fees and ongoing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the software associated with your purchase, solely for personal, non-commercial use, for the duration specified at purchase.
This licence does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services and software.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, distribute, sublicense, lease, lend, or otherwise transfer your licence or the software to any third party
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any software we provide, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the software
- Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or identifiers on the software
- Use the Services to harass, defraud, or harm others, or to violate any law or third-party right
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users' accounts, or any non-public area of the Services
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers against our website or APIs in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
5. Risk acknowledgment
You acknowledge and accept the following risks of using game enhancement software:
- Use of our software may violate the terms of service of the games and platforms you use it with. We are not affiliated with any game publisher or platform operator.
- Game publishers, platform operators, server administrators, and anti-cheat systems may detect, suspend, ban, or otherwise restrict accounts used in connection with our software, at any time and without notice.
- We make no representation or warranty that any product is or will remain undetected. Detection rates and methods are constantly evolving and outside our control.
- You are solely responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to game account bans, hardware bans, IP bans, loss of in-game items, and any associated financial loss.
You agree to use the Services entirely at your own risk and waive any claim against us arising from third-party action against your accounts.
6. Fees, payment, and renewal
Prices for products and durations are shown at /store and confirmed at checkout. All amounts are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction.
Payment is taken at the time of purchase via the payment provider selected at checkout. We do not store your full payment-card details — those are handled by our payment processor (currently Stripe, Inc.).
Where a product has a fixed duration (e.g. 30 days), access ends automatically at the end of that period unless you renew. Renewals are not automatic unless explicitly enabled at checkout. Where lifetime access is offered, "lifetime" means the operational lifetime of the product as decided by us, not the lifetime of the buyer.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By purchasing a licence you confirm that you have read and agreed to that policy.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the Services running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance windows, updates, third-party outages, anti-cheat changes, and other factors may cause temporary unavailability. Where a product is paused or taken offline, your active licence may be automatically credited additional time to compensate, at our discretion (see the Refund Policy and your account dashboard for current rules).
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account or licences immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms — including but not limited to sharing accounts, attempting chargebacks in bad faith, or using the Services in a manner that endangers our infrastructure or other users.
On termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive.
10. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, content, branding, designs, and documentation, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
11. User content
If you submit content to the Services — including reviews, support tickets, detection reports, and any other communication — you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the Services. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or undetected. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of game accounts, in-game items, profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g. via email or an in-account banner). Continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services. Where you are a consumer in another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws that override the foregoing, those laws apply.
