  1. Try running the client with compatibility mode. 1. Right click the client file/.exe and click "Properties" 2. Go under the compatibility tab and tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for" then set it to Windows 7. An anti virus's can be the cause of this. 3. Try to disable/close all programs that are shown with a tray icon at the taskbar. Plays.tv is a repeat offender.
